Service Description

A faulty Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve can cause a number of issues, including: Poor performance: The vehicle may have less power, take longer to accelerate, or stall when idling Increased fuel consumption: The vehicle may need to be refilled more frequently Rough idle: The engine may idle erratically or cut out completely Increased emissions: The vehicle may emit more nitrogen oxide (NOx) and unburned hydrocarbon fuel emissions Check engine light: The check engine light may come on Smoking: The vehicle may smoke at idle and low rpm Poor operation when cold: The vehicle may not operate as well when cold
